HOW TO PLAY TEHKAN WORLD CUP

This game is the most accepted coin-op football game
ever made (at least in Europe :-) )

1) EASY GOALS:
--- Diagonal shots (preferably diagonal shots to the left corner 
of the goal). In the later levels you must try to shoot faster 
or even avoid a tackling defender!
--- Run around the keeper. This works almost always if you have
practiced enough. Sometimes the opponents will even score an own 
goal in their last attempt to stop you! 
--- Crossing the ball. Go to the right (or left) corner of the field
and make sure that you are crossing the ball just a bit outside the 
small area (so that the keeper won't block the ball when it goes to 
your striker) and then let your striker complete the execution! 
This works really nice at the higher levels. 

2) FUNNY GOALS:
--- Long shot. Try a long shot just before the centre circle from 
your half. It doesn't happen very often, but you can score in the 
first levels (It doesn't seem to work at the later levels...)
--- Throw in (thanks Mustaine!). Let the opponents tackle you just 
outside the big area on the left. Then throw the ball diagonally-right
and if this is done properly you will experience the "hand of God"!!!

3) USEFUL GOALS: 
--- Corner kick. Kick the ball towards their keeper and keep holding
the joystick diagonally following the direction of the ball. If you 
are lucky enough, one of your players will score with a sliding tackle.
--- Multiple crossing. If you try to score by crossing the ball, but 
somehow your striker does not find the ball, don't stop. Continue to 
cross from the other side and repeat, until your striker scores!

The above goals can being used in the "very hard" difficulty level. 
I will not mention other goals for the easier levels, as in most cases 
you could virtually score from anywhere!
